IDN-INPS joined journalists from various parts of the world for a one-day trip to Ulba Metallurgical Plant (UMP) in Ust-Kamenogorsk, also known as Oskemen, in the East Kazakhstan region on August 28 to report on the establishment of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Low Enriched Uranium (LEU) Bank Storage Facility.
A day later, on August 29, the International Day against Nuclear Tests, IDN-INPS attended a Press Conference following official inauguration ceremony of the IAEA LEU Bank at Hilton Hotel Astana.
